A teenage singer hoping to hit the big time raised £245 for Great Ormond Street Hospital with a special gig.
Charlotte Forman, 17, of Aderne Close, Dovercourt, performed for two hours at the Captain Fryatt pub, in Garland Road, Parkeston on Friday.
The singer, who also plays the guitar, is in the regional final of national talent competition Live and Unsigned in Basildon on March 17.
The Live and Unsigned grand final is at London’s O2 arena, with the chance to win recording time, gigs and a £10,000 prize.
