PRIMARY school pupils shared an afternoon of prayer, worship and songs with the Bishop of Chelmsford.
Eight classes of pupils from All Saints Primary School and Two Village Primary Schools met Church of England Bishop of Chelmsford, Stephen Cottrell at Two Village Primary School on Tuesday.
The Bishop led an act of collective worship and spoke with the pupils before a choir from the two schools performed hymns and anthems.
Kay Wills, Headteacher of Two Village Primary School, said the idea for the day came after hearing The Bishop speak at a teacher’s conference.
She said: “He is such a powerful speaker who engages so well with his audience.
