A MAN and a seven-year-old boy were cut free from a car following a crash in Thorpe-le-Soken.
Emergency services were called to Station Road shortly before 1pm on Wednesday.
Firefighters released the pair using cutting equipment, following the three-vehicle collision, by 1.50pm.
They pair were treated by ambulance crews, along with a man and a woman in their 70s, for minor injuries.
They were all taken to Colchester General Hospital for further treatment.
