FIREFIGHTERS rescued a puppy from a hanging basket on Sunday.
A crew attended after a Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy got its head stuck whilst playing in a garden in Knox Road, Clacton just before 4pm.
Clacton fire station sub officer Scott Hepburn said: “The puppy had been playing in the garden and had put its head into an empty hanging basket which was on the ground.
“A set of bolt croppers were used to cut through the metal hanging basket and the puppy was then freed unharmed, and no worse off for its ordeal."
The pooch was freed within ten minutes.
