ALMOST 2,000 people have voiced protests on Facebook against murdered schoolboy Jay Whiston’s killer launching an appeal against his conviction.
Edward Redman is appealing against both the guilty verdict and 17-year jail sentence for Jay’s murder.
He claims he was not given a fair trial.
