THE desperate family of a terminallyill cancer sufferer claim NHS red tape is preventing their father from getting vital treatment.
Tragedy struck when Donelly Andrew, 64, was diagnosed with throat cancer in April.
Tests revealed a drug called Herceptin could be used to try to zap the tumour, but the NHS will not pay for it.
Daughter Louise says denying her father the treatment is “madness”, as it is his only chance of fighting the cancer for as long as possible.
