A FINE art student has carved out a name for herself in the chilly world of ice sculpting, after scooping a top prize in an international competition.
Imy Hare, of Great Bentley, was part of a four-strong Nottingham Trent University team invited to take part in Harbin’s International Snow Sculpture contest in China.
They braved temperatures as low as -30C perched on top of a 4m-high block of ice as they painstakingly chipped away to turn it into a spectacular wintry work of art.
Read the full story on Imy's incredible ice sculpting experience in the Clacton Gazette, out now.
