A NEW support scheme has been launched to help out-of-work teenagers find jobs.
The programme, called My GAPS, is aimed at helping struggling 16-19-year-olds in Clacton get the education, training or experience they need to get into work.
It will be led by training company TCHC which has been running the project in Cambridge since 2013.
Bosses say it can give youngsters the skills they need to kick-start their futures.
CEO Dale Morgan said: “The young people the programme is designed to support have often left school with no or few qualifications and are not confident about their future.”
The project is expected to help about 60 youngsters in Clacton this year.
