PLANS to build two homes in Little Clacton that were branded “backland development” have been refused.
The scheme, for Austin Heating Services, has been rejected by Tendring Council.
The application for a plot of land at the rear of 155 Harwich Road included plans for car parking and garages.
Little Clacton Parish Council opposed the proposal and claimed it would be “backland development” and outside the village boundary.
A Tendring Council spokesman said the plans had been rejected on environmental grounds.
