A SCHEME to build eight new homes in Weeley has got the all-clear.
Tendring Council’s planning committee approved outline plans for land in Clacton Road on Tuesday night.
The application was also backed by Weeley Parish Council, which hopes the extra properties in that area will help its campaign for a 30mph speed limit to be introduced.
The eight detached houses with garages were approved unanimously by the committee, with eight votes in favour and none against.
Tendring Council received a letter with 14 signatures and three other letters of objection.
