The Gazette is backing a major event in Clacton showcasing the district’s businesses.

Tendring Business Showcase will be held on May 14, from 10am to 7pm, at the Princes Theatre, Town Hall, in Station Road.

There will be networking events and seminars, as well as exhibition stands from local businesses, community groups and not-for-profit enterprises.

The event has been organised by the Tendring Business Community Magazine and the Clacton, Frinton and Walton Gazette is the official media partner.

Kevin Barnes, showcase organiser and managing director of the Tendring Business Community Magazine, said: “This is an exciting opportunity for local organisations to showcase their products and services to visitors from across our region and beyond.

“I am passionate about Tendring and what it has to offer as a great place to live and work; this event will highlight the best that we have to offer and demonstrate the skills available on our doorstep.”

Gazette editor Aynsley Davidson added: “We are delighted to be supporting the Tendring Business Showcase, which is ideal for any business hoping to discover new opportunities in their community.

“Visitors can visit dozens of exhibition stands, discover local businesses that can supply them with high-quality products, learn how to be more effective through seminars presented by industry experts, and grow their contacts list by talking to exhibitors and joining networking meetings.”

Refreshments will be available throughout the day and all proceeds will be donated to the Community Voluntary Services Tendring, which is run by community members and supports, promotes and develops voluntary and community action.

Entry for visitors is free, while exhibitors can book a stand for £150, plus a £9.65 administration fee. For more details, go to www.exhibition.tbcm.info
