A POLICE officer was forced out of her dream job and left feeling suicidal after bosses failed to give her time off for childcare, a tribunal has heard.

Sarah Jay claims Essex Police failed to accommodate adequate leave to look after her young daughter, leaving her no option but to resign.

The 41-year-old, of Thorpe, appeared at a tribunal in London claiming indirect sex discrimination had led to her resignation.
