AN Indian restaurant in Frinton has been awarded a certificate of excellence.
British India, in Connaught Avenue, received the award from top travel website TripAdvisor.
The TripAdvisor certificate of excellence was set up seven years ago and is given out to the top hotels, venues and eateries as rated by customers on the website.
It bases the certificate on reviews submitted over the past 12 months. To qualify, a business has to maintain a top ranking throughout the year while being rated by a certain number of customers.
British India has clinched the award for the first time.
Manager Dillon Ali said: “Winning the TripAdvisor certificate of excellence is a true source of pride for the entire team at British India and we’d like to thank all of our past guests who took the time to complete a review on TripAdvisor.”
“There is no greater seal of approval than being recognised by one’s customers.
“With the certificate based on customer reviews, the accolade is a remarkable vote of confidence to our business and our continued commitment to excellence.”
