A PENSIONER was injured after a bungalow blaze in Jaywick which left the building completely alight.
Firefighters from Clacton and Weeley were called to the bungalow in Lanchester Avenue at about 3am this morning.
Crew reported the building was 100 per cent alight and set to work tackling the flames.
The extinguished the blaze by about 4am.
A 70 year-old man was left with injuries by the incident and was placed in the care of paramedics.
The fire service will now carry out an investigation to establish the cause of the blaze.
