FIREFIGHTERS wearing breathing apparatus tackled a blaze at cafe in St Osyth last night.
The fire broke out in Beach Road just before 6.30pm.
The incident commander said the single-storey building was heavily smoke-logged when fire crews from Clacton and Weeley arrived.
The fire was extinguished by 7pm.
No-one is believed to have been injured.
