A BEST of British concert will raise money for a disabled youngster with a rare terminal condition.
Clacton Musical Theatre Society will put on its patriotic Brit-themed performance at the town’s West Cliff Theatre on August 30.
Members have decided to donate proceeds from the show to Clacton youngster Stanley Newman.
The three-year-old has a rare form of muscle-wasting condition congenital muscular dystrophy.
Money raised will help make the family home more accessible for Stanley.
Society spokesman Wendy Orton said: “This family is unbelievable and Stanley is such a dear little soul.
“Everyone who hears about his story is touched by it and I just hate to see him suffer.
“It is an honour to do this for him and we want as many people as possible to come and watch and support the cause.
“We are looking forward to what should be a great show.
“This isn’t just about filling seats for our show. We just want to do everything we can to help.”
