A HUGE house on Frinton seafront is set to be converted into three new homes.
The existing arts and crafts-style house was built in 1910 and sits on the corner of The Esplanade and Second Avenue, within Frinton’s conservation area.
New plans, now approved by Tendring Council, include converting the interior into separate homes, creating new access from Second Avenue and building a new garage.
The grounds of the building will also be sub-divided to create private amenity areas.
Frinton and Walton Town Council has already backed the scheme.
The plans were approved with district council officers deciding the scheme will preserve the setting of the conservation area and keep a building intact which has a positive impact on the area.
