90-year-old man charged in connection with fatal road crash on Boxing Day
A MAN has been charged in connection with a fatal road crash on Boxing Day in Kirby Cross.
Cyril Fayers, 90, of Wittonwood Road, Frinton, has been charged with causing death by careless driving, perverting the course of justice and failing to stop after a road traffic collision.
The crash, in Frinton Road, Kirby Cross, happened on December 26 last year.
It led to the death of Barbara Cyfrowicz, who lived nearby in Bemerton Gardens.
Mr Fayers is next due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court for a plea and case management hearing on December 21.
