THE funeral of an elderly woman who was shot dead inside a Walton care home will be held this morning.
Rita King, 81, died from a gunshot wound to the head inside Delamer House care home on December 28.
Family and friends will gather to pay their last respects at her funeral at Weeley Crematorium this morning.
Husband Ronald King has been charged with Rita’s murder and is due to enter a plea at Chelmsford Crown Court in March.
