TRAIN campaigners will debate the top rail issues affecting the area – including the impending franchise decision – at a meeting this weekend.
Rail user group Ontrack, which campaigns for service improvements to Tendring trains, will hold its AGM on Saturday.
The main issue up for discussion is the new franchise choice, set to be made later this year.
Tendring Council vice chairman Mark Platt will be the keynote speaker and there will be a section of the meeting for people to raise urgent issues.
The AGM will take place at Frinton Methodist Church hall in Ashlyn’s Road, 10.30am-12noon on Saturday.
