DARK glasses, trademark pork pie hats and bags of attitude, it can can only mean one thing - the legendary Blues Brothers are back in town.

Jake and Elwood return to the UK with their brand new Jailbreak Tour.

Armed with a new stage set, new moves and freshly laundered jailsuits, the Chicago Blues Brothers is packed with more than two hours of the best motown, blues and soul along with some side-splitting comedy.

It's almost 40 years since John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd first unleashed the might that was to become the Blues Brothers on the NBC show Saturday Night Live in the USA.

Claiming to be on a mission from God, they became the ultimate ambassadors of the music they loved.

The high-octane show features hits from both the Blues Brothers movies including Everybody Needs Somebody, Raw Hide, Gimme Some Lovin, and Sweet Home Chicago, as well as unforgettable classics from James Brown, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Otis Reading and Cab ‘Minnie the Moocher’ Calloway in an evening of rip-roaring entertainment.

Frontmen Chris Hindle and Gareth Davey are backed by a full live band for what promises to be a non-stop party night.

The Chicago Blues Brothers are at Clacton's Princes Theatre this Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets are £23 (£22 concessions) from the box office on 01255 686633.
