A TEENAGER was punched in the face in an attempted alleyway robbery in Clacton.
The victim, a 15-year-old boy from Clacton, was cycling along an alley near Burstall Close towards Langham Drive when he was attacked.
Another youngster approached him and punched him in the face, before attempting to pull the bike away from him.
The victim managed to cycle away from the scene without anything being stolen.
It happened at about 3pm on Tuesday.
Police have now launched an appeal for information.
The suspect is described as white, aged about 12 and about 5ft 5ins tall. He had a medium build, short dark hair and was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms.
