A DESSERT café is set to sweeten up the town centre with new flavours and jobs.
Tendring Council has approved Nina Marshall’s plans to change the use of a shop at 61 High Street, in Clacton.
Mrs Marshall’s vision is a milkshake, dessert and ice cream parlour serving pre-made waffles.
The scheme was supported by the council’s regeneration team who welcomed bring something new to the area while also bringing an empty unit back to life.
A total of four jobs will be created with the hope of more in the future.
The café is likely to be opened from 12pm until 10.30pm Monday to Saturday with shorter opening hours on a Sunday.
