A MAN has admitted resisting arrest after allegedly threatening to blow up a house.
Police were called to Coopers Lane, Clacton, following a report Tristan Holgate was making threats.
When officers arrived Holgate, 26, of Trimley Close, Clacton, tried to make off twice.
Eventually he had to be subdued with handcuffs and limb restraints.
The incident took place on April 15 and Holgate admitted resisting arrest at Colchester Magistrates’ Court.
No charges, regarding the alleged threats to kill, were pursued.
Gemma Lee, mitigating, said Holgate has behavioural issues and was confused.
Holgate was on post sentence supervision at the time having been released from prison early for assaulting three women and harassing a fourth.
He was fined £40 for resisting a constable in the execution of their duty and ordered to pay £115 in costs and charges at a rate of £10 per fortnight.
