DEVELOPERS have put forward plans for 14 bungalows on a controversial site on the outskirts of Clacton.
Tendring Council turned down outline proposals for the development at Elm Farm, in Little Clacton Road, in 2016.
The council said the housing would be harmful to the countryside and was "unacceptable" development.
But the developers got the go-ahead a year ago after successfully appealing against the decision.
EF Developments have now submitted full plans to the council.
A series of agricultural and equestrian buildings have already been demolished and the land has been cleared.
The developers say the scheme will result in low density housing which will have "minimal impact upon the surrounding area".
But some neighbours claim the new housing will overlook their homes.
One objector added: "The road is fast and dangerous enough without another busy junction into the new road. The entrance would be on a bend and would not be safe.
"There is no path and no facility for a path to walk to this new road as it is ditch either side of the road from my property to the site entrance."
A decision is expected by the end of July.
