A FOOTBALL fan has won a competition to get an FA Cup final ticket for the match between Aston Villa and Arsenal which will enable him to complete a ten-month fundraising challenge.

James Sakal, 31, of Coggeshall Road, Marks Tey, won the national Wembley Moments competition by recreating Evel Knievel’s iconic jump over 13 London buses at the stadium in 1975, using his bike and model buses.

The prize is a ticket to the cup final and the opportunity to take photographs during the game.

The ticket will mean maths student James can complete his personal FA Cup trail, which has seen him watch a match at every stage of the competition.

He took on the challenge, which has been running since August, in aid of MS in memory of his uncle Richard.

He said: “I had my doubts in the middle of the trail I would ever get this far.

“It’s become a little bit of an obsession. I’m relieved and overjoyed to win.

“I’m really looking forward to it. I’m really excited.”

The Instagram video competition went to a public vote and James won by about 130 votes.
