Firefighters called to blaze in airing cupboard
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a home in Mersea after a blaze broke out in the airing cupboard.
Crews from West Mersea and Colchester went to Mersea Avenue at just after 10am this morning.
The airing cupboard was on the second floor, and the crews managed to extinguish the fire by 11am.
