GIFTED art students at Colchester Institute showcased their work at an exhibition.
More than 270 creative arts students displayed their final projects at an endof- year exhibition.
The students came from a range of disciplines including fine art, fashion and textiles, 3D design and craft.
Former students, guests from creative industries, staff and members of the public attended.
Vijdan Rashit, a BA Fine Art student, whose piece is based on feminism, Islamic art and decoration, said: “This course has enabled me to gain the freedom to put all of my own skills into practice”.
The evening also coincided with the college’s 130-year anniversary of the Colchester School of Art.
