Man, 65, to deny charges of raping young boy and sexually assaulting another
A SUSPECTED paedophile will deny raping one young boy and sexually assaulting another.
Leslie Pennick, 65, is accused of abusing children on several occasions over a period spanning ten years Pennick, from Goldhanger Road, Heybridge, appeared in front of magistrates in Colchester Court yesterday.
The court heard Pennick plans to deny all charges when he appears at Chelmsford Crown Court for a formal plea hearing on May 31.
He is accused of:
- two counts of raping a boy aged under 16 in the 1980s
- three counts of indecently assaulting a boy also in the 1980s
- three counts of indecently assaulting another boy between 1986 and 1992.
