A MAN was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after suffering from a cardiac arrest in Colchester.
The Essex Air Ambulance landed near Friar's Grove Primary School off Upland Drive yesterday to assist the man.
An ambulance crew, an ambulance officer and one crew of firefighters from Colchester, who assisted as co-responders, rushed to St Christopher Road yesterday at 1.45pm.
A spokesman for the ambulance service confirmed they treated a man, believed to be in his 60s, who was in cardiac arrest.
He was taken by land ambulance to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital in a critical condition.
