TWO teenagers have been taken to hospital after a car failed to stop after an accident on the A133.

Police are appealing for information after an accident on the A133, Clacton Road at around 12am on Thursday, November 16. 

A blue BMW 316 was travelling on the A133 Clacton Road in the direction of Elmstead Market.

A small dark coloured car, which was driving in the opposite direction on the wrong side of the road, caused the BMW driver to swerve out the way causing the car to roll over into a ditch.

The driver, a 19-year-old man from Brightlingsea, and a 19-year-old female passenger from Elmstead, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the small dark car failed to stop.

Witnesses or anyone with information are asked to contact Pc Andrew Egerton at Stanway Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting incident number 3 of November 16.
