Thousands to improve park

A VILLAGE has received thousands of pounds of Lottery funding to improve a park.
Little Oakley Parish Council won the grant worth £5,995 to install new fencing around the playground off Harwich Road.
The current wooden fence is rotting and a new galvanised metal replacement is hoped to last longer.
The Big Lottery Fund announced the investment on Tuesday, March 5, and the fence work is due to be completed by the end of the month.
