A CRASH victim who has to learn to walk again is relieved something could be done at a notorious A120 junction.

Nigel Whatling, 58, spent five days in critical care at Colchester General Hospital after crashing at the Hare Green junction on February 14.

The 58-year-old had a punctured lung and fractured pelvis in four places.

He has whole-heartedly backed The Standard’s A120 campaign and hopes something positive may come from the Highways Agency’s safety review.

Mr Whatling returned to his home in Briardale Avenue, Dovercourt, on Tuesday, March 12, nearly a month after the night time crash.
