Burglary victim living in fear

THE family of a burglary victim have spoken out of their fear for his safety.

Andrew Potter has been the target for burglars who his family say are now harassing the 19-year-old who suffers with special educational needs.

Zena Jacombs, 37, said after the break-in on March 5, the burglars took a spare key which they then used to enter the home on Tuesday, March 12.

Zena said her partner Francis Potter, Andrew’s dad, fears every passing siren could be rushing to his son.

She said she wanted to find a new home for Andrew, who currently lives in West Street.

Harwich police said it was investigating and asked anyone with information to call DC Roger Henderson at Clacton police.
