James Blodge, of Little Bromley, 'just wants to give a little back'
7:30am Monday 26th August 2013 in Harwich and Manningtree News
A CANCER survivor will raise money for those who helped him by doing not one but 40 daredevil challenges.
James Lodge, of Shop Road, Little Bromley, got the two-year all-clear last November after suffering from head and neck cancer.
He set himself the task of completing an extreme obstacle race to raise money for Colchester General Hospital’s Head and Neck Cancer Fund and the Cancer Centre Fund.
But James decided one challenge was not enough and set about compiling a list of crazy stunts.
The next big event is a gruelling Man versus Mountain run up Snowdon in Wales on September 7.
“I just want to give a little bit back. I have survived cancer and want to give others the same chance,” he said.
James has raised £1,500 of his £5,000 target.
