Holiday home by river ‘complete in months’

A UNIQUE fairytale holiday home designed by Turner Prize-winning artist Grayson Perry could be completed as early as next spring.
Work on the controversial site in Black Boy Lane in Wrabness began earlier this summer.
The building is a collaboration project between Chelmsford-born artist Perry, who won the Turner Prize in 2003, FAT Architects and Living Architecture.
A Living Architecture spokesman said: “The basement is already in and the structure is growing each week. Expected completion is 2014.”
It is not yet known when the house, known as A House for Essex, will be able to start taking bookings.
The spokesman said: “It’s likely to be in late Spring/Summer next year, depending on the weather conditions on site this winter.”
