Board's meetings to be held in public
10:00am Monday 14th October 2013 in Harwich and Manningtree News
A GROUP which tackles issues faced by residents in Tendring will be held in public for the first time.
The Tendring Locality Board, which is made up of senior county and district councillors, is the first in the county to hold its meetings in public.
It was set up as a pilot scheme in 2011 and now meets every two months.
The two councils work together to lobby central Government on major issues such as education and A120 improvements.
The next meeting is on November 14 at 6pm in the council chamber at Weeley.
