BIRDWATCHERS can see how this winter has affected numbers later this month.
The Big Birdwatch, hosted by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds, is a chance for twitchers to spot garden birds such as sparrows and thrushes.
The event takes place on January 25 and 26.
At Flatford’s Wildlife Garden kids will be able to make a bird feeder as part of a special workshop and also learn to use the telescopes to watch the birds feeding.
There will also be a wildlife challenge around the garden. On the Sunday there will be a bird-ringing demonstration.
Throughout the weekend, there will be bird wood-carvings made by Maureen Hazel Gibson for sale.
For details of the event, taking place between 10am and 3pm, visit rspb.org.uk/flatford.
