PUPILS were wowed by a nutty professor who aims to make science fun.
Ian Dunne from Do Science visited Manningtree High School and showed off zany experiments to the students from the school, Lawford Primary School and Highfields Community Primary School on Tuesday.
They included the hair-raising electrical charge globe called a vandagraph, turning a saw into a fiddle and fitting eggs into a glass of water.
Science coordinator Ros Fretwell was delighted with how the pupils responded to the event which was held as part of National Science and Engineering week.
“They all seemed to be enjoying what was going on and it was very entertaining and stimulating. There was lots of laughter all the way through,” she said
