A FUNDRAISING mum has raised more than £1,000 for charity by going for the chop.

Layla Vanhinsbergh of Waldegrave Way, Lawford, saw her long brown locks shaved off for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

She has raised £1,200 for the charity which helped her family when her grandfather died of cancer.

Layla, 30, said: “I wanted to do something extreme and raise as much money as possible."
