PLANS to build nine new homes in Bradfield will be scrutinised by a planning committee.
Bennett Homes wants to demolish outbuildings on the site in Barrack Street and put up the houses which will be a mixture of three, four and five bedroom properties.
It would also include parking and alternations to an existing cottage on the site.
The plans have been objected to by Bradfield Parish Council and a number of other local residents in the village amid fears it is overdevelopment.
One letter of support welcomed new homes in the area.
The plans will now go before Tendring Council’s planning committee at a meeting today, with officers having recommended the plans for approval.
