HIGHWAYS bosses say they remain committed to improving safety at notorious accident blackspot following a fatal accident.
A spokesman said: “Our thoughts and condolences are with the people affected by this tragic incident, especially the family of the person who lost their life.
“Due to an ongoing police investigation into the incident it would be inappropriate to comment further.
“Safety is a top priority for the Highways Agency and we remain committed to improving safety on the A120.
“The Highways Agency announced that the speed limit on the A120 around its junctions with Harwich Road, Park Road and Pellens Corner junctions would be reduced to 50mph.
“Preliminary work has been completed and the final phase is due to start late in September or early October.”
