TRIBUTES have been paid to an inspirational teenager who has died aged 19.
Lewis Biddlecombe, who was a student at Harwich Rock School, died suddenly on October 21.
Last year Lewis spoke with the Standard about being in remission for brain cancer.
The popular guitarist had battled backed from the illness to perform live gigs with Colchester Institute’s Rock School based in Clacton.
A tribute concert is now being planned by the both rock schools and Lewis’ fellow students.
Chris Scott, of Harwich Rock School, said: “Lewis came to Rock School with a passion for playing guitar.
“We looked forward to him visiting every week as despite his problems he brought an unbelievable positive attitude to life and helped many younger children at Rock School."
