A STRIKING art installation with hundreds of handmade poppies has marked Remembrance Day.
Pupils at East Bergholt High School have made poppies, which have been placed on display at the school.
The installation takes inspiration from the sea of poppies at the Tower of London, which the Royal British Legion hopes will raise £15million.
The display was added to every day in November, with the last poppy laid on Tuesday.
Each poppy bears a pupil’s family connection or a local story relating to the First World War on the back.
Headteacher Colin Turner said: “The response to the project has been wonderful."
