MUSCLEBOUND grapplers will be starring in the debut show of a new wrestling federation based in Dovercourt.
The first card from Wrestling League – titled Kingsway Brawl – will be at Kingsway Hall on Sunday, with doors opening at 3pm.
Some of the performers signed up to appear in the squared circle are former contestant on popular television show Total Nonstop Action Bootcamp Marty Scurll, WWE NXT star Martin Stone and Essex-based highflyer Will Ospreay.
The event has been put together by local entrepreneur Mark Young, Toby Scott of Get Known Be Heard and Cave Demon Productions and promises to be a spectacular show full of all-round entertainment.
Mr Young said he is excited for the first bell to ring after months of hard work and preparation to try to perfect the afternoon.
“I am really looking forward to it, but I think I am in that nervous stage now where I just wish it was happening now,” he said.
“All the planning has gone great though, so there is not too much else we can do."
Tickets are available in advance online at facebook.com/wrestlingleague or at ringsideworld.co.uk, priced at £8 for the standing area and between £10 and £15 for seating.
There will also be a handful of tickets available on the door.
Organisers also took their title belt for a tour of the town this week.
