A TELEVISION weathergirl breezed into Harw rwich and Dovercourt High School to judge sponsored photography and poetry contests.
Good Morning Britain presenter Laura Tobin helped pick the winners of competitions, based on wild weather and wildlife. She also gave a presentation about being a meteorologist.
Library manager Andrew Dace said: “It was fantastic and the students were really engaged with everything Laura was telling them about.
"She also put in a great deal of effort writing messages to the entrants, and giving feedback on what she liked about their poems and pictures.
"It was very interesting to hear her talk about her job and how to predict the weather."
The winners and runners-up were Isabel Curle, Amy Munson, Alex Newman, Elizabeth Frith, Helen Chambers, Maria Aldridge, Fern Stapleton, Luke Mealing, Skie Jones and Caitlyn Payne.
