PARENTS causing parking misery by blocking up village roads to drop off children at school could be accused of antisocial behaviour.

Furious residents have demanded action over the “dangerous” parking of drivers stopping to take youngsters to Lawford Primary School in Long Road.

Barry Bird, of Hunter Drive, has called for a car park to be built after witnessing parents blocking residential roads and parking on grass verges for the school-run.

Lawford parish councillors have agreed to contact the headteacher and look at the possibility of gaining space for a car park from private landowners.

But Carlo Guglielmi, parish and county councillor for Lawford said he would look into whether the parking could be deemed anti-social behaviour.
