CROWDS gathered to see Saint Nicholas and Black Peter arrive in Harwich on a lifeboat.
Mayor Alan Todd headed the welcoming committee, along with representatives from all the schools in the town. The sounds of the Royal British Legion Apprentice Band filled the air as the duo handed the pupils sweets.
Now in its tenth year, the event has become an annual tradition and was introduced by the Rev Erwin Lammens and his wife, who brought the idea from Belgium.
