TWO rising classical music stars are set to strike a chord with Stour Valley Arts and Music.
Cellist Jessie Ann Richardson and pianist Jan Rautio will be appearing at Constable Hall, in Gandish Road, East Bergholt, on Sunday at 3pm.
Among the music lined up are compositions by Beethoven, Bruch and Chopin.
Jessie’s reputation is being forged at home and abroad with her virtuoso and sensitive musicianship.
Along with her group, the Piatti Quartet, she has appeared on BBC3 a number of times, on Australia’s ABC Network and they also performed for Stour Valley Arts and Music last year.
She plays a Celoniatus Cello made in Turin more than 260 years ago.
Tickets are £12.50 on the door or at svam.org.uk/RichardsonandRautio.php.
