Christmas food parcels ready for those in need
MORE than 100 Christmas food parcels have been packed ready to help families in Manningtree over the festive season.
Volunteers at the Manningtree and District Food Bank have been busy creating the special packages to deliver to residents in need.
Volunteer Kerry King said: “The trustees and volunteers would like to thank all the kind people who have donated so generously since we opened.
“Through your kindness, we have managed to help several families, who I am sure would also like to thank you.”
The Food Bank, with One Support which can offer financial advice, is open on Tuesdays 10.30am to 12.30pm at Foundry Court, Colchester Road, Manningtree.
